Women's Transitional Housing in Nashville

Empowering Women in Recovery
The core values of The Florence House are...
1. Safe, Inspired, Empowered - The Florence House is committed to creating an environment where every woman feels safe, inspired, and empowered to reclaim her life. These are seen as the essential conditions for transformation and are protected fiercely.
2. Dignity, Respect, and Accountability - Led with integrity, The Florence House fosters a space where women are treated with dignity and respect. Accountability is a shared value, not a punishment, and the home balances structure with compassion.
3. Your Comeback Story - The Florence House honors each woman's resilience. Recovery is viewed not as the end, but as the pivotal moment of reclaiming one’s story. The program helps women rebuild their lives with purpose and reawaken their voices, rooted in their own power.

Supportive Community
At Florence House, residents become part of a supportive community dedicated to helping each other achieve long-lasting sobriety. Our staff and fellow residents provide encouragement and understanding throughout the recovery process.

Holistic
Wellness
In addition to comfortable accomodations, Florence House promotes holistic wellness through various activities such as yoga, meditation, and outdoor excursions. We believe in nurturing the mind, body, and spirit for a comprehensive approach to recovery.
A note from our founder...
I created The Florence House with this truth in mind: women in recovery are warriors. Not because they are hardened, but because they are healing. Not because they never fall, but because they rise—over and over again.
Here, strength doesn’t mean perfection. It means honesty. Community. Grace. Accountability. It means holding space for both pain and possibility. It means telling your story and letting it shine light for someone else.
If you’re reading this and you’re still finding your strength—welcome. You’re not broken. You’re becoming. And I promise you, the power you’re rebuilding is real, rooted, and yours to keep.
Love,
Sara
